A cold October shoot...

I was lucky enough to do an awesome shoot with a very daring and fun young lady! 6am on a very cold October morning, we headed up to Orillia to do an outdoors themed boudoir/ glamour shoot.

Why so early I hear you ask? Well one of the ideas was to get some shots of my client in the lake with the sunrise as a back drop. Unfortunately the sunrise wasn't nearly as impressive as we were hoping for, but we had fun none the less.


A country girl at heart, we shot at 3 different out door locations that she had picked, and we were lucky enough to get the end of the fall colours.


After the location shooting, we headed back to the warmth of my house to get some final shots against the lovely bright open walls for a more 'studio portrait' feel.
All in all we drove around and shot for about 6 hours, got some awesome photos and I then designed her a fantastic photo book. By far one of my favorite photo sessions to date :)

Welcome to my blog, I will be showcasing some of my favorite photos (with permission of course) that I have taken over the years. In future posts I will be going in-depth on my artistic background, as well as talking about the Impossible project and how I can shoot Boudoir on instant film using vintage polaroid cameras.

Back last September I was lucky enough to do a shoot at Milcroft Inn & Spa, just outside of Orangevile, Ontario. Milcroft is set amongst beautiful grounds and gardens with the main building and out houses dating back to the 1800's. We captured the late afternoon Sun for some wonderfully lit, natural light photos.
